8 months!

Today marks the start of my 8th month!  Only 56 more days til D-Day!  It might seem like a long time, but I'm starting to realize just how much needs to get done in the next two months.  Fortunately, I'll have the last three weeks at home to get ready for Sam.  I can't wait to finish his room and get all his things together!  Nesting is in full swing!

My latest worry has been that I will miss being pregnant.  I love feeling him kick and I love poking my belly and having him kick me back.  For the last 8 months all I've wanted is for him to get here already and now that I'm nearing the end, I'm worried I'll miss it when he leaves the bump.  There are so many things I'm looking forward to though and I'm so excited to hold him and see what he looks like!  :)  I will also be very happy to sleep on my stomach again!  AND eat so many foods that I've done without for the last 8 months...not to mention COFFEE!!!   :D

And the nesting begins...

John had to work today (boooo!!!!!).  I got up early with him and set out to have a productive Saturday.
Off to Babies-R-Us!
I got ready and picked up one of my favorite people in the world (my grandmom)...and we headed off to one of my favorite places in the world...a little place I like to call "Hormone Heaven" (Babies-R-Us).  Mission of the day: buy a crib mattress.  So off we went to the huge Babies-R-Us in Altamonte Springs *happy sigh*.  :)  I got the mattress plus a couple unintended purchases not on my list (oh hormones...) and I headed home to admire the crib...fully equipped with its mattress.  As soon as I got home I busted out the crib set John's mom got us (Thank you Mom-Mom!!!)...

Time to dress the crib!  :)

Ssssoooo cute!!!  Love it!

Getting ready!

Nine more weeks!  We're beginning to get ready for Sam to make his big appearance.  Last weekend, Daddy unboxed the nursery furniture and put together the crib.  It's a good thing John's doing more and more because every day I seem to be capable of doing less and less.  I'm starting to wonder if it's humanly possible that my stomach get any bigger.  I'm beginning to feel like a creaky old boat with more aches and pains and discomforts.  Nevertheless, this has been an amazing pregnancy so far and I have loved every minute of it.  There's nothing more amazing than feeling this little guy move around in my belly.  I can't wait to meet him!

Here we go!
Goofball acting overly excited to unbox the furniture.
Chandler scoping out the new digs.

A garage full of tools and this is all that he needed.  :)

Almost done, Daddy!

Finished product!

Excuse the dark video, but this gives you a general idea of how things are set up so far.  :)
